"GAMEFACE" update:
POLICE with GUNS DRAWN "Saturday (May 13th) we proceeded to shoot an intense scene where Jack pulls a gun on his neighbor in the alley behind their apartments in broad daylight.
As a relatively new filmmaker I thought "we shouldn't take too long, who needs to inform anyone of our "faux" crimes. We got almost all of our shots quickly and then as I shot from quite a ways down the alley, an SUV looking for parking on the nearby street came across our lead, Dan, holding a pistol to Domiziano's face in the alley and very convincingly threatening him.
The SUV drove off quickly and within 10 minutes 2 police officers came very stealthily down the road with their guns drawn in search of the Villain. the word COPS quickly ran through our ranks and Dan put the "Faux" pistol away.
The police realized quickly that we were only shooting film and not bullets. They put their weapons away and seemed very relieved that they could go back to sitting at the art show across the street. We continued our shoot for one more and the adrenaline was everywhere."

"Here it is. If you didn't get a chance to come to our Soundtrack show where we first previewed this, or if you just want to see it again...
Remember, this is a teaser not a trailer. A trailer gives away the whole story and all the punch lines and relieves you from having to sit through the actual movie."

"I Just wanted to update you on our progress as to Gameface.
Our first cut of the film was just over 3 hours long. After 4 months of post it's now 1 hour 48 minutes. So scenes have been deleted, improv cut way down, scenes moved around and recut to make this movie as fun and interesting as possible. The new transcript of the film is finished which was a herculean task.
We've just finished editing and color correcting and the sound is in progress with 2 designers.
Our Panhandler character (Russell Andrews, of the Punisher and the Nine) is going to give a cut of the movie to the president of Mandalay. Among the several festivals we plan to submit to we are submitting to Methodfest this week with our existing cut. I think Methodfest may be the first place we'll have a chance to see Gameface on a big screen. Should this happen I will let everyone know.
We also plan on having a dvd for all in the cast by the end of February.
Again, thank you all so much for an amazing movie. The acting is great and in a dialogue heavy dramedy acting is everything.
Cheers.

"To the Cast and Crew of Gameface,
After screening Gameface twice in July Mike Bradshaw and I have decided to make a few little fixes to the sound and picture. These will be subtle changes that will make things move a bitsmoother and Mike has been experimenting with some sound resolutions that make things muchbetter overall. So "the point of the matter is" we'll be getting a new version of the film out by the end of Sept. 2007
Please hang on for that version. It will be worth it. This new version is being submitted to Sundance.
cheers"
