Is it already July 18th? again? wasn't that just a couple of days ago? I swear it was ... LOL. .. Ok, Today is a beautiful day outside.. sunny and warm! A beautiful day to celebrate another year! Yes, it is my birthday! (almost 16 hours into it, Canada east coast time) .. I must say I am overwhelmed, yes truly overwhelmed by the over pouring love from around the World, by around 3 am I already had received over 80 Birthday Greetings. (right now over 165 ..I'm speechless) .. seriously folks.. emails, comments, text messages, phone calls from nearly every corner of the World, it's true (especially) that Internet makes the world a much cozier, closer and smaller place, I could not be happier on this birthday of mine.
My life (especially) in the past year and a half or so, had been a very turbulent one, very transforming, en-lighting and changing experience for me (yep I did it again), I've lost much (mostly body weight hahaha) and I gained so much, I think I have reached that solid ground in my life: I've never been better, never been healthier, never seen things in life clearer, never been more successful, never been happier .. I guess my life had come full circle (and I'm not even 40 yet). I'm at peace with my self I assume, however a lot of dreams, goals and wishes are still ahead to be achieved, ... and believe me, I will
I got here all by myself believing in myself and never stopped dreaming, Instead of wishing you were someone else, be proud of who you are. You never know who has been looking at you wishing they were you. I always knew what I wanted early on and went for it .. No explanations of who you are is owed to absolutely anyone. Be the you you feel like being with no apologies. That's pretty much my motto.
Thank you Thank you to everyone who remembered my birthday! Each greeting really meant a lot to me and absolutely made my day. Thanks to Internet for making remembering people's birthday and sending a greeting much easier! Thank you to my family who has always been there no matter what. .. NEWS ALERT: Slim K was approached to audition for a small part on the upcoming movie adaptation of "21 Jump Street", back in 2008 Sony confirmed that a film version of the series was under development. Jonah Hill will rewrite an existing script by screenwriter Joe Gazzam and executive produce the film, though it remains unknown if he will star. Johnny Depp announced he would be glad to cameo in the film.
Hill said he wants horror director Rob Zombie to direct the picture. In May 2009, Jonah Hill described the film adaptation as being a "R-rated, insane, Bad Boys-meets-John Hughes-type movie". On December 21, 2009 it was announced that Columbia Pictures are in talks with Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs directing duo, Phil Lord and Chris Miller, to direct the film which will star Jonah Hill, who also is executive producing. Channing Tatum will star alongside Hill in the film adaptation. Ice Cube is also in talks to join the cast. The current release date for the film is March 16, 2012. (stay tuned for updates!)

“Tic tack tic tack .. counting down the last hours of a dying 2010, it’s New Years Eve.. the brith of 2011 (it’s an End of a Year, End of a Decade, End of an Era ) — 2011 is on the horizon, so close that I can feel it’s warm rays like a sun crawling into my skin. I look at this day and I find myself filled with happiness, sadness, excitement and melancholy at the same time with tears in my eyes, a smile upon my lips and ache in my heart (for one reason or another). Mixed emotions are running deep through my mind, my heart & my soul like a teenage girl. Nostalgic memories pushed aside by even stronger desires, dreams and hopes for bigger, better and higher things to come. That’s what keeps me strong and going. Always ..
The old give way to the young. New thoughts sprout from fertile ground. While the New Year beckons us with many promises, don’t forget to give the old year its due. In 2010, Slim started a (focused and disciplined) exercise program. Everyday 90 min. to 2 hours, plus Bikram Yoga and Organic Diets (mixed w/ live food, vegetarian and vegan days in between) - It was effective and worth the pain, I never felt and looked so good, I'm in best shape of my life!

The cover art for the new single for Slim K's "Open Up Your Heart" was revealed online today. It was designed by Slim Khezri and Fabu earlier this summer in Los Angeles, Slim had created 6 designs all together and picked this one for the cover. The single is scheduled for release (digitally) on October 12, 2010.
The Music Video World Premiere is scheduled for Sunday, October 10, 2010.

Hello to all from Canada,
And again another year went by as quickly as it came, I want to THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH, each one of you for so many wonderful and touching birthday wishes. I have never felt so grateful as I have today to be who I am, I've never ever been aware, awake, healthy, sane and in control of my life.
You know this year, 2010 is a year of major significance to me .. That's why I've been keeping a low profile, I've been re-thinking, re-grouping, re-adjusting, re-evaluating, re-transforming my life .. I'm in transition right now .. been reinventing myself!
It has been an extraordinary year in so many ways, darkness and light in (almost) equal measure, self discovery and selfcognition, but it has all been good, in its way, made so because of the amazing privleges, many blessings, friends and family I have. Oh yes .. I know I'm very fortunate.
I pulled the brakes in 2010 to seek the basis and meaning of my life, career and surroundings .. I took time off and went into hiatus .. it was my own decison, I just chose to take time for myself .. However I will be back after the Summer better, bigger and re-energized as ever.
I am very excited about my NEW single in the Fall, but more about that soon come… In the meantime, have a great July 18, Please wherever you are ..whoever you are .. Celebrate it .. have a drink or two or three ..I know I will get hammered tonight .. hahahaha .. and remember, ‘All You Need is NOW", don't think about the past, it distract you from the now, enjoy life to the fullest ..it's short and therefor don't waste it on worries ..I'm currently living a life that is priceless, because it is unrepeatable and thus irretrievably valuable.
As I read somewhere: "Think before you speak. Pause before you act. Make every minute count. Another chance? No chance. .. Today is memory in the making, a deposit in the bank of time. Let's make it a good one."
