[glow=red,2,300] WIN WIN (Aide Vignettes)[/glow] Project Notes: This is a series of short films about high stakes negotiations in Iraq, conveying the intense nature of the process along with necessity for cultural awareness and sensitivity. They are being produced in conjunction with the Institute for Creative Technology, a joint venture between the university of Southern California and the US Army.
Story Line: After an IED destroys a bridge in a small Iraqi town, the US Military and Iraqi National police must work together to find a solution to restore peace without stirring new conflict. Slim Khezri plays YUSUF The interpreter, an Iraqi who has worked with the National Police and US Military several times before, with varying results. He is a good interpreter, but can be biased by the meeting participants, and will sometimes add his own take on things if he feels like it. An empathetic sort, his own personality and disposition act as a barometer for how the discussion is going. + shot in downtown Los Angeles, + produced by Psychic Bunny www.psychicbunny.com/ *Psychic Bunny is a production, post, design, and creative company based out of Los Angeles. + directed by Asa Shumskas-Tait
