HAPPY NEW YEAR To All !!! 2010 is the 2010th year of the Anno Domini or Common Era epoch, the 10th year of the 3rd millennium and of the 21st century, and the 1st of the 2010s decade.
I'm on a stage different from where I was a couple of weeks ago, this past Holiday Season I had a revelation. I'm still ME (and always will be) but my outlook on life was reset and reloaded, I' am transforming and taking a different route in my life.
SLIM K's "19 NEW YEAR RESOLUTIONS 2010"
#1: Get rid of all the negative "Baggage" from the past (incl. angry emotions, bad memories, old ugly clothes, people you don't need).
#2: Cut down on TV (not watch any reality TV "period", lame series, shows etc. --waste of time), just rent, buy or go to movies
#3: Cut down Computer use (spend way too much time on it, there's more to life)
#4: Read more Books
#5: Get to know People you surrounded by (which you thought you knew !!!!!)
#6: Get back to Arts (Painting, photography, fashion etc.)
#7: Get snatched (as in go more frequent to the Gym and train decisive, more, better --incl. change of diet!)
#8: Change my Style (time to change my look, my style, my fashion) --I do that every 5 to 10 years ;=))
#9: Have a different outlook on Life (see the other side, take a different perspective .. there's more to see than meets the eye in life!)
#10: Try not to feel hesitant about everything (be more daring and outgoing when tempted to try new things!!!)
#11: Get back into Sharpening my Languages (bit rusty ... back to French, Arabic, German .. dust them off with more reading and writing)
#12: Enjoy life and have fun with those I love (who matter to me) in 2010 and the rest of the decade ...
#13: Get back to Dancing (who's Bad!)
#14: Find new interesting ways & things in Sex (my favorite) --I had everything, seen everything .. it's time to spice things up and take it to another level
#15: Go to Theaters more often (Musicals, Operas, Concerts etc) --Get out more often and celebrate more often!
#16: Be Happy and Be Positive (most people in the world are a pain the ass .. I'm no longer putting up with crap!)
#17: Cut down on Coffee (my drug) and balance it with Tea ;-)
#18: Travel more ... even to the next town
#19: Try to accomplish more in work and life
Enjoy Life to the fullest, with all that's got to offer ...
take charge, take a chance .. you might like it

“Tic tack tic tack .. counting down the hours! New Years Eve is here 09/10 (End of a Year, End of a Decade, End of an Era ) — 2010 is on the horizon, so close that I can feel it’s rays crawling through my skin. I look at this day and I find myself filled with happiness, sadness, excitement and melancholy at the same time with tears in my eyes, a smile upon my lips and ache in my heart (for one reason or another). Mixed emotions are running through my mind, my heart & my soul like a teenage girl. Nostalgic memories pushed aside by even stronger desires, dreams and hopes, I know there’s more bigger,better and higher things to come. That’s what keeps me going. Always ..
Today is the Day to reflect and evaluate not only a past year but an entire decade (what was?, what I’ve done?, who am I with?, what will?), cause Tonight exactly at midnight (wherever you are), the old year will end and the new one will rise like the Sun (literally), such is life .. I feel a strange sense of relief that tomorrow has arrived ..
They say: “It’s Written”, I say No, Nothing is Written unless YOU write it yourself. If You believe in God or Destiny or Karma, You’re given a blank empty Book at your Birth, you are your own Writer and Master of your Choices and Story, Write it Wisely!
I breath the air of change, it is here

(Berlin Wall 20th Anniversary: Germany Celebrates Memory Of The Fall)
20 Years today, WOW oh my how time flies, I remember it as it was yesterday, I was walking late afternoon on Thursday November 9th, 1989 in the city of my hometown Lübeck at the shopping area of Breite Strasse, when the News broke out, people went nuts .. shouting: "The Wall fell .. The Wall fell..". McDonalds was giving free burgers, everybody was celebrating, it was indeed a big Historical moment and I was minutes away from the wall. On Sat. the 11th, My dad drove us to the other side (east), it was amazing it looked like a set build for "Schindler's List" movie, all grey dark gritty and depressive and the poor people lived there for about 40 years .. OMG, all they had was love, hope and determination for a better life in a hopeless situation. My heart goes out to all the victims who got shot at the wall for trying to get out of that eastern dump! xx S.K. ;=)

* NOTE: I went for an encore screening of Michael Jackson's "This Is It" this past week, I' am still overwhelmed with deep sadness and great sense of disbelieve that Michael's no longer with us, no matter how many times I watch "This Is It" (a brilliant piece of film to Michael's talent force and last goodbye to the world), his love, energy, life and power keeps reminding us and myself throughout the movie what could've been the biggest comeback/ farewell concert of all time. It's so tragic. "This Is It" is to me the ultimate last good bye to Michael Jackson. this project was not a failure at least they captured something, YOU HAVE GOT TO SEE IT (especially if you're a singer, musician, dancer, actor .. a creator of art, this is for you .. this is for us)!

Slim Khezri is always looking for different ways to improve his acting abilities, one of the methods he came up with is to film himself in dialogue and paste the scenes into movies, an experiment to see how it works on screen, to discover his flaws, his dos and don'ts.
Remember "Practice Makes The Master" and this particular clip is a simple test scene practice Slim shot in different ways and takes last spring for a german show called "Mission Hollywood", produced by Tresor TV for RTL network.
This video is intended for private viewing. Theres an entire series of these, this is just one of them.
Original idea inspired by movie scenes taken from "City Of Angels" (1998), directed by Brad Siberling featuring Meg Ryan and Nicolas Cage.

On the morning of June 25, 2009, Jackson reportedly collapsed at a home he was renting in west Los Angeles. Paramedics responded to a 911 call at 12:21 pm local (Pacific) time. He was reportedly not breathing at the time that paramedics arrived, and CPR was quickly performed. He fell into a coma and died shortly after being rushed to UCLA Medical Center. The cause of death is suspected to be cardiac arrest. Jackson was pronounced dead at 2:26 pm local time. At 4:36 pm, the Los Angeles coroner confirmed Jackson's death. Slim Khezri recently (Apr/ May) worked at the Panavision Studios on a new comdey titled "Fred & Vinnie", directed by Steve Skrovan (Emmy Award winner, writer for “Seinfeld” and served as exec producer of “Everybody Loves Raymond”). The comedy film is is written and starred by comic actor Fred Stoller (comedian, actor, and writer best known for his frequent guest starring as Gerard in "Everybody Loves Raymond" and subsequent guest appearances on many TV shows incl. "Friends" and "The King of Queens ". He also wrote 2 episodes and appeared on "Seinfeld").
The comedy is about two mismatched guys forced to live together. Given this, it’s probably safe to say, we are in for a few laughs as this film promises to be overly hilarious and funny.
Slim Khezri plays a small part as an Interviewer,

HAPPY NEW YEAR To All !!! 2010 is the 2010th year of the Anno Domini or Common Era epoch, the 10th year of the 3rd millennium and of the 21st century, and the 1st of the 2010s decade.
I'm on a stage different from where I was a couple of weeks ago, this past Holiday Season I had a revelation. I'm still ME (and always will be) but my outlook on life was reset and reloaded, I' am transforming and taking a different route in my life.
SLIM K's "19 NEW YEAR RESOLUTIONS 2010"
#1: Get rid of all the negative "Baggage" from the past (incl. angry emotions, bad memories, old ugly clothes, people you don't need).
#2: Cut down on TV (not watch any reality TV "period", lame series, shows etc. --waste of time), just rent, buy or go to movies
#3: Cut down Computer use (spend way too much time on it, there's more to life)
#4: Read more Books
#5: Get to know People you surrounded by (which you thought you knew !!!!!)
#6: Get back to Arts (Painting, photography, fashion etc.)
#7: Get snatched (as in go more frequent to the Gym and train decisive, more, better --incl. change of diet!)
#8: Change my Style (time to change my look, my style, my fashion) --I do that every 5 to 10 years ;=))
#9: Have a different outlook on Life (see the other side, take a different perspective .. there's more to see than meets the eye in life!)
#10: Try not to feel hesitant about everything (be more daring and outgoing when tempted to try new things!!!)
#11: Get back into Sharpening my Languages (bit rusty ... back to French, Arabic, German .. dust them off with more reading and writing)
#12: Enjoy life and have fun with those I love (who matter to me) in 2010 and the rest of the decade ...
#13: Get back to Dancing (who's Bad!)
#14: Find new interesting ways & things in Sex (my favorite) --I had everything, seen everything .. it's time to spice things up and take it to another level
#15: Go to Theaters more often (Musicals, Operas, Concerts etc) --Get out more often and celebrate more often!
#16: Be Happy and Be Positive (most people in the world are a pain the ass .. I'm no longer putting up with crap!)
#17: Cut down on Coffee (my drug) and balance it with Tea ;-)
#18: Travel more ... even to the next town
#19: Try to accomplish more in work and life
Enjoy Life to the fullest, with all that's got to offer ...
take charge, take a chance .. you might like it

“Tic tack tic tack .. counting down the hours! New Years Eve is here 09/10 (End of a Year, End of a Decade, End of an Era ) — 2010 is on the horizon, so close that I can feel it’s rays crawling through my skin. I look at this day and I find myself filled with happiness, sadness, excitement and melancholy at the same time with tears in my eyes, a smile upon my lips and ache in my heart (for one reason or another). Mixed emotions are running through my mind, my heart & my soul like a teenage girl. Nostalgic memories pushed aside by even stronger desires, dreams and hopes, I know there’s more bigger,better and higher things to come. That’s what keeps me going. Always ..
Today is the Day to reflect and evaluate not only a past year but an entire decade (what was?, what I’ve done?, who am I with?, what will?), cause Tonight exactly at midnight (wherever you are), the old year will end and the new one will rise like the Sun (literally), such is life .. I feel a strange sense of relief that tomorrow has arrived ..
They say: “It’s Written”, I say No, Nothing is Written unless YOU write it yourself. If You believe in God or Destiny or Karma, You’re given a blank empty Book at your Birth, you are your own Writer and Master of your Choices and Story, Write it Wisely!
I breath the air of change, it is here

20 Years today, WOW oh my how time flies, I remember it as it was yesterday, I was walking late afternoon on Thursday November 9th, 1989 in the city of my hometown Lübeck at the shopping area of Breite Strasse, when the News broke out, people went nuts .. shouting: "The Wall fell .. The Wall fell..". McDonalds was giving free burgers, everybody was celebrating, it was indeed a big Historical moment and I was minutes away from the wall. On Sat. the 11th, My dad drove us to the other side (east), it was amazing it looked like a set build for "Schindler's List" movie, all grey dark gritty and depressive and the poor people lived there for about 40 years .. OMG, all they had was love, hope and determination for a better life in a hopeless situation. My heart goes out to all the victims who got shot at the wall for trying to get out of that eastern dump! xx S.K. ;=)

* NOTE: I went for an encore screening of Michael Jackson's "This Is It" this past week, I' am still overwhelmed with deep sadness and great sense of disbelieve that Michael's no longer with us, no matter how many times I watch "This Is It" (a brilliant piece of film to Michael's talent force and last goodbye to the world), his love, energy, life and power keeps reminding us and myself throughout the movie what could've been the biggest comeback/ farewell concert of all time. It's so tragic. "This Is It" is to me the ultimate last good bye to Michael Jackson. this project was not a failure at least they captured something, YOU HAVE GOT TO SEE IT (especially if you're a singer, musician, dancer, actor .. a creator of art, this is for you .. this is for us)!

Slim has been performing at different venues, events (International Celebrity Arts, Fashion shows etc .) and festivals in Hollywood and Los Angeles. In a series of 5 performances throughout this summer, Slim K will be performing again tonight 09/16/2009 as a surprise guest (for the 6th time) in Hollywood.
These performances as far as Slim K's conceren are rehearsal and practice to get back into the swing of things of music and preparation for the upcoming new single release of "Burn The Disco" Redux 6 CD Set (October 2009).

Slim Khezri is always looking for different ways to improve his acting abilities, one of the methods he came up with is to film himself in dialogue and paste the scenes into movies, an experiment to see how it works on screen, to discover his flaws, his dos and don'ts.
Remember "Practice Makes The Master" and this particular clip is a simple test scene practice Slim shot in different ways and takes last spring for a german show called "Mission Hollywood", produced by Tresor TV for RTL network.
This video is intended for private viewing. Theres an entire series of these, this is just one of them.
Original idea inspired by movie scenes taken from "City Of Angels" (1998), directed by Brad Siberling featuring Meg Ryan and Nicolas Cage.

*"Split Ends" a drama reality program, where stylists swap salon locations with unfolding drama. Slim K was invited to the red carpet event in Beverly Hills to photograph the models. Among the guests was actress Sharon Stone, the episode was produced by 44 Blue Productions and directed by Michael Carroll.
*"How Do I Look?" A style-impaired guest gets a new wardrobe and makeover. New looks are chosen by a professional stylist Jeannie Mai and two friends of the guest. directed by Sonia Riahi, Slim K was guest judge.

On the morning of June 25, 2009, Jackson reportedly collapsed at a home he was renting in west Los Angeles. Paramedics responded to a 911 call at 12:21 pm local (Pacific) time. He was reportedly not breathing at the time that paramedics arrived, and CPR was quickly performed. He fell into a coma and died shortly after being rushed to UCLA Medical Center. The cause of death is suspected to be cardiac arrest. Jackson was pronounced dead at 2:26 pm local time. At 4:36 pm, the Los Angeles coroner confirmed Jackson's death. Slim Khezri recently (Apr/ May) worked at the Panavision Studios on a new comdey titled "Fred & Vinnie", directed by Steve Skrovan (Emmy Award winner, writer for “Seinfeld” and served as exec producer of “Everybody Loves Raymond”). The comedy film is is written and starred by comic actor Fred Stoller (comedian, actor, and writer best known for his frequent guest starring as Gerard in "Everybody Loves Raymond" and subsequent guest appearances on many TV shows incl. "Friends" and "The King of Queens ". He also wrote 2 episodes and appeared on "Seinfeld").
The comedy is about two mismatched guys forced to live together. Given this, it’s probably safe to say, we are in for a few laughs as this film promises to be overly hilarious and funny.
